Balanced air flow = comfort…

The anemometer is a device that allows GreenEdge to test air flow velocity and temperature.  It is used to measure the volumetric flow rate at warm/cold air registers throughout the home.  We also use this tool to determine if you are getting the proper temperature distributed at each register.

Does it seem like one or more of your rooms is colder in the winter and warmer in the summer than the other rooms in the house?  This is a very common problem.  Your homes HVAC system should be balanced, which means each room should be getting a similar amount of air flow.  GreenEdge can determine during our Home Energy Audit (BPI) if there is a problem.  Unbalanced air flow can lead to comfort problems throughout the home.

Unbalanced air flow in a house is a common source for comfort problems.
